MeDirect Malta employees have recently collected funds for Puttinu Cares and their ongoing work to support cancer patients and their families who are undergoing treatment in Malta as well as abroad.

Roderick Bugeja, Lead Senior Wealth Manager at MeDirect Malta, who presented the donation, said, “At any moment there can be up to 90 cancer patients receiving treatment abroad, in addition to all those being treated in Malta. The psychological and financial pressures this can create can have a real impact on treatment, so the work of Puttinu Cares remains crucial. We know that our contribution to Puttinu Cares will help those who really need it.”

Puttinu Cares was set up in 2002 and seeks to support those suffering from cancer, particularly children, by campaigning for the provision of a coordinated network of care and support and working to improve the environment in which children are treated.
