MeDirect’s branch in Victoria Gozo last weekend hosted the Otters ASC summer swimming school registration, giving young people the opportunity to enrol for waterpolo and swimming lessons during the upcoming summer. Aspiring athletes also received MeDirect gifts.
The event, which continues to strengthen the long-standing relationship between MeDirect Bank and Otters ASC, took place just a few weeks before Spartacus Gozo. This innovative Hybrid Steel, Running and Open Water Sea Swimming competition, launched this year by Otters, which will take place in Marsalforn on 7th June, and is also supported by MeDirect.
Amanda Dimech, Senior Wealth Manager at MeDirect in Gozo, said, “For more than a decade, MeDirect has built a strong partnership with Otters ASC. It is always great to see so many young people taking up swimming and waterpolo and to see organisations like Otters being innovative and creating new events such as Spartacus, that not only encourage an active lifestyle but also add to Gozo’s appeal as a destination.”
Paul Dimech, Vice President of Otters ASC, said, “MeDirect continues to support our club as we grow and evolve. While Otters ASC continues with its primary mission of providing young people in Gozo with opportunities to develop their swimming and waterpolo skills, we are also focussed on expanding our activities to ensure more people in Gozo enjoy the physical and mental benefits of an active lifestyle. This is a commitment which MeDirect’s support for Spartacus proves is a shared one”
