Jessica Mangion, Senior Manager – Wealth Support at MeDirect recently delivered a presentation covering online payments and digital wallets to a group of teachers attending a financial literacy event organised by the Malta Bankers’ Association (MBA).
During her presentation, Jessica provided an overview of how online payments and digital wallets work, taking time to cover in more detail options available for day-to-day banking needs. The online meeting was part of a series of events to mark European Money Week and was organised together with the Ministry for Education.
Jessica said, “Financial literacy is a key focus for MeDirect as we want people to take good decisions about the use of their money. This collaboration between the MBA and Ministry for Education was an excellent initiative to help teachers better understand digital banking services, giving them updated information which they can use in their own lives and to help their students.”
