Operational Risk Manager
Reporting to the Head of Operational Risk, the selected candidate will assist the Group in identifying, assessing, monitoring, managing and reporting on the Bank’s operational risks. The selected candidate will work intensively with colleagues from both the first and the second line of defence, across all sites.

Duties and responsibilities
- Managing the Operational Risk framework of the Bank, including Key Risk Indicators, risk monitoring and control testing
- Overseeing all Operational and IT risks including management information, key risks and trends, and reporting to the Head of Operational Risk/Chief Risk Officer and regulatory bodies as necessary
- Supporting in the yearly Internal Control Report process (based on RCSAs, facilitated and challenged by Operational Risk)
- Working closely with the Data Protection Officer on GDPR related matters
- Managing all Operational Risk related policies and ensuring that standards meet regulatory requirements
- Ensuring that Operational Risk controls are in place and are available to all interested parties with updates appropriately controlled and audited
- Overseeing business continuity planning across the Bank
- Evaluating the effectiveness of major incident recovery and undertaking periodical testing
- Being involved in operational risk awareness programmes by proactively communicating emerging risks, policies and frameworks, including training
Required knowledge, skills and experience
- A University degree in Risk Management, Banking & Finance or any other related area
- Between 4 – 6 years’ experience in a banking, preferably in risk management
- Experience in card risk management will be considered a strong plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent spoken and written communication in English; French knowledge will be considered a plus
