MeDirect has donated 23 laptops to The Malta Trust Foundation in support of its ‘Your Device Your Right’ initiative. This initiative encourages individuals and businesses to donate used laptops which are in good working order that are then given to children who do not have internet access.
The laptops were presented to the Chair of The Malta Trust Foundation, H.E. Marie Louise Coleiro Preca by Lorraine Bonello Ghio, Chief Administration Officer and Keith Grech, Corporate IT TechOps – Chapter Lead, at MeDirect Malta. The Bank’s IT department ensured these laptops are in perfect working condition with a fresh version of windows 10 installed accordingly.
MeDirect will continue to support community initiatives that help bridge digital divides in society and looks forward to ongoing cooperation with The Malta Trust Foundation. Wherever possible, MeDirect will also continue to repurpose and recycle equipment as part of its commitment to reducing its carbon footprint, reducing waste and meeting its ambitious ESG targets.
