Over the past years, MeDirect has invested in developing state-of-the-art online banking and investment platforms. These services add convenience and ease of managing the clients’ banking and investment needs without the need to visit a physical branch.
In order to sustain future growth and development, with effect from 31st January 2020, MeDirect will be closing two of its branches located at 72, Constitution Street, Mosta and 127, Pjazza Antoine De Paule, Paola. In addition, the branch in Sliema will move from its current location on the 1st floor to the 2nd floor of The Centre, Tigné Point as from 6th January 2020. The branch in Gozo will remain open in its current location. MeDirect’s team of highly skilled and dedicated professionals are there to serve its clients in these branches, and will continue to offer the bank’s personalised service.
The clients’ accounts will not be affected in any way and no action is required from the clients’ end. However it is important to note that after 31st January 2020, a number of services will no longer be available through the branch network and can only be made through MeDirect’s Wealth Support Centre and/or MeDirect’s online banking platform, as outlined in this information sheet.
New Investment Centre
The operations of the branches will be transferred to MeDirect’s new Investment Centre located at its headquarters at The Centre, Tigné Point, Sliema. The new Investment Centre will be dedicated to provide superior banking support and investment services to the bank’s customers.
