MeDirect has once again supported l-Istrina, the annual fundraising marathon organised by The Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation, with a donation of €15,000. This donation was presented by a team of MeDirect employees who also dedicated their time to answer calls from those members of the public who wanted to contribute to this event and support those in need.
Roderick Bugeja, Senior Wealth Manager at MeDirect Malta, said, “L-Istrina is an integral part of the festive season in Malta, bringing the nation together to support those who are less fortunate. MeDirect and its employees have always played their part in tis national expression of solidarity, and we are pleased to see that the MCCF continues to receive the resources its needs to continue delivering services and support to those who ned it most.”
Ingrid Micallef, Head of Wealth, remarked, “L-Istrina holds a significant place in Malta’s annual calendar, and for MeDirect as well. Each year, alongside the bank’s financial contribution, our employees generously offer their free time to assist. We hope that this year’s l-Istrina continues to build on the successes of previous years, providing the MCCF with the necessary resources for the coming year.”
