Malta Philharmonic and Youth orchestras join forces for MeDirect supported concert

The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and the Malta Youth Orchestra will be joining forces for a joint concert led by Michael Laus and supported by MeDirect. The concert, taking place on Saturday 11 May at Fort St Elmo, will feature works by Christopher Muscat, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and Hector Berlioz.

The concert, starting at 9.00pm, will combine the entrancing melodies and rhythmic vigour of Mucsat’s Festival Overture with the vibrant spirit of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Russian Easter Festival Overture before concluding with Berlioz’s mesmerising Symphonie fantastique.
