Lost or stolen card

If your card is lost or stolen, you can report it through the Report lost or stolen card feature available on both the Mobile App and internet banking, ensuring your account is protected immediately.

How to report a lost or stolen card via the Mobile App

1.  Go to the Cards tab and tap on Settings.
2. Choose the Report lost or stolen card option.
3. Tap on Cancel card.
4. Tap on Terminate card to confirm.

How to report a lost or stolen card from the eBanking platform

Click on the images to expand.

1.  Go to the Cards page from the left menu.

2. Choose the Settings option.

3. Click on Report lost or stolen card from the right menu.

4. Click on the Report lost/stolen button to cancel your current card.

5. Click on the Yes, cancel button to confirm.

Report a Fraud

If you want to report a phishing attempt, use the Report Fraud option available through the Mobile App or eBanking platform.

 

Once confirmed, we will temporarily block access to your eBanking, Mobile App, and all cards linked to your accounts including those held by any joint holders to keep your accounts secure.

 

To restore access at any time, contact our Customer Service team at +356 2557 4400. We are available Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm and Saturday, 9am–1pm. 

How to report fraud via the Mobile App

1.  Go to the More options tab from the menu bar.

2. Choose the Report fraud option.

3. Tap on Continue to confirm blocking your access. 

How to report fraud from the eBanking platform

Click on the imagse to expand.

1.  Click on the user icon at the top rigth corner.

2. Select the Report fraud option.

3. Click on the Confirm button to block your access.

Can't stop your card or report fraud online?

If you are unable to use the MeDirect Mobile App or eBanking platform, or if the phone linked to your card in an e-wallet is lost, please contact our customer support right away.

 

Assistance after business hours is available only in English and the service enables restriction of online banking access and unpairing of the Mobile App for any bank client (card holders and non-card holders). 

 

This service also allows you to terminate your card with immediate effect.

During business hours

Monday – Friday : 08:00 – 18:00

Saturday: 08:00 – 13:00

After business hours

Monday – Friday : 18:00 onwards

Saturday: 13:00 onwards

Sundays and Public Holidays: 24h
