Pocket Symphonies

MeDirect is proud to support the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. The orchestra will be presenting Pocket Symphonies on Saturday 11th January 2020.

Helbig belongs to the new generation of composers for whom there are no barriers between the classical orchestral world, experimental art and pop music.

His Pocket Symphonies, released under the Deutsche Grammophon label, are a coherent cycle of 12 compositions pursuing the idea of creating symphonic pearls in the form of songs.

Conducted by Robert Ferrer, with Stephen Helbig on the electronics and Charlene Farrugia on the Piano, the show promises a wonderful evening.

This performance will be held at the beautiful Robert Samut Hall in Floriana at 7.30pm.
