Accounts Payable Officer


Your responsibilities as an Accounts Payable Officer will include: 

  • Obtaining internal approvals for supplier invoices and payments
  • Posting supplier invoices to the General Ledger
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Processing supplier payments
  • Coordinating with other departments to assist in the compilation of the list of month-end accruals
  • Clearing bank reconciliation items
  • Performing petty cash reconciliations

Who are you?

  • You have a Minimum A level in Accounting
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Any previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset

Relationship Manager


Duties and responsibilities

  • Promoting and attracting new customers
  • Preparing and/or assisting in the preparation of customer reviews, in line with the bank’s procedures
  • Assisting and attending to customer queries with regards to e-banking, deposit, account opening, and other matters
  • Effectively communicating Bank products to customers to generate leads
  • Keeping abreast with financial news, industry best practices, and related legislation to be able to provide support to customers

Required knowledge, skills and experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English
  • Willing to undertake a Diploma in Financial Advice
  • A Diploma in Banking or equivalent and previous experience within the financial services sector will be considered an asset

Banking Financial Reporting Analyst


Duties and responsibilities

  • Producing monthly financial reports for management and regulators to support decision making and reporting
  • Building and developing effective working relationship with staff within various business units and other finance colleagues
  • Taking an active role in data analysis and interpretation in relation to the bank’s capital adequacy and liquidity position
  • Improving the quality of the financial information available and reporting by the team to stakeholders
  • Participating in relevant projects, systems implementation and enhancements
  • Assisting with queries from regulatory authorities and external auditors

Required knowledge, skills and experience

  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel
  • Accounting qualification
  • Interest to work in a developing organisation with exposure to local and international regulation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Preference will be given to canddiates who are fluent in French and/or Dutch

Finance Analyst


Your responsibilities will include

  • Analysing datasets, identifying trends and other notable factors in such datasets
  • Building analytical models to analyse and simulate the outcome of business proposals
  • Analysing risk/return characteristics of various scenarios, strategic initiatives and transactions
  • Developing reports and communicating the results of the analyses to senior management and various stakeholders
  • Contributing to presentations for use by stakeholders including and regulators (MFSA and European Central Bank)
  • Generating reports from single or multiple systems
  • Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports

To be successful in this role you will possess the following experience, skills and qualifications

  • A University degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or finance or any other if you are interested in financial analysis
  • Good knowledge of Python, SQL or similar software or readiness to learn
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Previous work experience as a data analyst or in a related field will be considered an asset

Wealth Manager


Duties and responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the assigned customer portfolio is managed to generate new business, meet cross-sell KIPs and investment business growth targets, defined at budget level
  • Building long lasting profitable relationships to ensure customer loyalty
  • Attracting new customers
  • Providing investment advice to new and existing customers, in line with the customer’s financial needs, risk profile, applicable regulation and internal standards, also having such advice documented accordingly
  • Ensuring that customers obtain regular investment information and portfolio reviews, therefore delivering a superior investment proposition
  • Keeping abreast with financial news, industry best practices and related legislation to be able to provide support to customers
  • Undergoing administrative duties to fulfil the exigencies of the role

Required knowledge, skills and experience

  • Diploma for Financial Advisors (DipFA) and/or Banking and finance or another equivalent qualification from a tertiary education institution (at least MQF Level 6 or higher)
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience within the investment advisory sector
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English
  • Already PQ’ed and approved to provide investment advice by the MFSA
