MeDirect is proud to be one of the sponsors of the annual Cystic Fibrosis Fundraising Event. This year, a raffle was organised at the Bank in aid of Cystic Fibrosis.
Josette Falzon, representing Cystic Fibrosis in Malta, shared the following message:
Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic condition which effects mostly the lungs and the pancreas. To date no actual cure has been found and life expectancy is of 40 years. A lot of progress has been made in the past years and CFers are living longer and healthier lives.
All money raised from the CF Fundraising Malta Event will be partially used to help local CFers with better medication, thus making their lives easier and the rest of the funds will be sent to the CF Trust in the UK where research for a cure is being carried out.
Thank you MeDirect for once again being one of the sponsors and also for the money you managed to raise from the raffle. This means a lot to me. When a cure is found you will certainly have contributed to it.
